The Chelsea Flower Show Edit: Esme Higgs in Blooming Blue Couture

This Monday, we had the pleasure of dressing RSPCA Ambassador and World Horse Welfare Patron Esme Higgs for the 2026 Chelsea Flower Show, a highlight of the British social calendar and a true celebration of horticultural artistry and British tradition.

For the occasion, Esme wore an exclusive design from our Royal Garden Collection, rendered in the softest powder blue crepe. The silhouette was conceived with a quiet sense of modern femininity, structured yet fluid, defined yet effortless, capturing the understated sophistication that lies at the heart of the collection.

The delicate blue tone was chosen to reflect the natural palette of an English garden in full bloom; hydrangea, forget-me-not and summer sky. In crepe, the fabric holds a beautiful balance of precision and softness, allowing the silhouette to move with ease whilst maintaining its couture integrity.

Across the bodice, hand-applied 3D floral appliqué was delicately placed to create an organic sense of movement, as though naturally unfolding across the garment. Subtle accents of pearl and crystal were introduced within the embroidery, offering a refined luminosity that catches the light with quiet elegance, reminiscent of morning dew upon petals.

At its core, the design embodies the essence of British couture: polished, feminine, and quietly assured. A celebration of craftsmanship, nature, and the enduring beauty of made-to-measure design.
