Inside Shahin’s Opulent London Wedding at the Old Royal Naval College

At the breathtaking Old Royal Naval College, Shahin was the epitome of sublime excellence, perfectly mirroring the opulent beauty of England’s answer to the Sistine Chapel the extraordinary Painted Hall. Surrounded by soaring ornamented interiors and rich historic grandeur, she stepped into her own modern fairytale, bringing colour, personality and couture drama to one of London’s most iconic settings.

Shahin was the epitome of modern couture elegance. Her final bridal look embraced individuality with complete confidence, pairing a playful bridal mini with a striking six tier ruffle jacket that transformed every movement into something theatrical and beautiful. Bursts of floral colour danced around the look, bringing softness and vibrancy to the dramatic architecture of the hall around her.

The celebration itself was deeply personal, bringing together two families, two cultures and two ceremonies across one extraordinary day in London. Following her Mehndi celebrations and white wedding ceremony, Shahin prepared for her final grand entrance surrounded by warmth, excitement and the people she loved most. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, creating a wedding that felt both intimate and spectacular in equal measure.

Designed to move effortlessly from ceremony to celebration, her couture look captured the spirit of the evening perfectly elegant, playful and completely alive on the dance floor among friends and family. Against the gilded interiors of the Painted Hall, Shahin stepped into her own modern fairytale as she began this new chapter with her beloved Nicky.

Reflecting on her experience with Isabell Kristensen, Shahin described the process as far more than simply creating a gown.

“Martin doesn’t simply create a gown; he guides you through a glamorous, playful and deeply warm journey, full of humour and fantasy.”

She spoke about the care, creativity and reassurance she felt throughout the process, particularly during the often overwhelming experience of bridal fittings and couture design.

“He pairs an unparalleled design sensibility with a genuine passion for both his craft and the women who wear his creations. He has an exceptional ability to translate the world of couture for even the most overwhelmed bride, all while fostering an environment that feels vibrant, safe and truly personal.”

Shahin’s wedding at the Old Royal Naval College was a celebration of fashion, family and culture brought together in one unforgettable London setting. Bold yet elegant, playful yet refined, it was a bridal moment perfectly matched to the grandeur of the day itself.
